Microscopic Montage of Plant Root Tissue

Media Details
Created 8/15/2002
This data set represents 3 modalities of wide field microscopic imaging (clockwise): dark field, incident light fluorescence, phase contrast, and incident light fluorescence at an alternative wavelength. Each data set is constructed of many individual fields of view stitched together to form a montage of the entire tissue section. The inset shows the level of detail in the original image, which measures 72 inches square.
