Tobacco Mosaic Virus

This image is a three dimensional electron density map of the tobacco mosaic virus, explored using the MRC3dll application for MatLab. The first image is an intensity slice through a cross sectional view of the map. The second image is a contour map of the same section. Third image shows another contour map sliced at right angles to the first one. Finally in the last image a cylindrical section through the map is shown. The radius of cylinder is indicated in second and third image by a dashed line.
