Rectangular Prism Colloidal Granules

Three-dimensional view of rectangular prism colloidal granules. The granules were scanned using the Xradia MicroCT (MicroXCT-200) in the Microscopy Suite. Following image reconstruction, the resultant image volume was segmented using Imaris software in the Visualization Laboratory. Local volumes for each granule were determined using a custom voronoi tessellation program in Matlab written by Shepherd. The red portion is a skeleton of influence zone for the voronoi cells around each granule.
